Robert Paul was a guitarist with the Johnny Van Zant Band , and toured with him for 16 years all over the world . I met him through my friend MIke Kinnamon in Nashville a few years back. We recorded the songs here at my studio ,Black Crow Studios, I produced and co wrote all the songs and I am now the new lead singer of the band .

Steve spent his teens and early life playing guitar and drums. Forgoing dreams of playing professionally, he joined the army to support his growing family. After being medically retired from injuries sustained from 3 combat tours in Iraq, he began piano lessons in 2014 as a way to improve his cognitive skills and memory.
Little did he know it would become his panacea and passion.
While the brain injuries made it grueling, he dedicated his time to improving his playing and healing his mind. Just a few years later he started performing live and has since played as a member of The Black Sheep Blues Band and The Bryce Alister Band. He is currently entertaining the greater Jacksonville area on keys and vocals as a member of Uncle Mojo‘s Padded Room. Please welcome Steve to the Robert Paul Band
